Introduction
The process of shrink-wrapping makes products look like they have a nice,
clean and professional finish. Using the shrink-wrap machine may look like a
daunting task but in fact it is actually a very simple machine to use. Packaging and
labeling are very simple task to do as well. As long as you follow these steps

Manual Overview
After reading this manual you will successfully know how to:

Operate a Shrink-Wrap Machine

Use a T-Fold Box
Use Water Tape Dispenser
Label a package

Note
I will not show you how to load the water adhesive tape dispenser or tell you the
length to use while using the Water Tape Dispenser, because there are different
lengths to the T-Fold Box. I will not tell you the temperature to use on the ShrinkWrap machine, because all books shrink at different temperatures I will also not
tell you how to load the film in a shrink-wrap machine.

Before you start shrink-wrapping you need familiarize yourself with the
components of the shrink-wrap machine.

Before you start shrink wrapping follow these steps!
1. Load the Shrink Wrap Machine with the film.
2. Turn on the Shrink Wrap Machine.

3. Set the temperature to the appropriate temperature need for your book.

4. Set the appropriate speed for the conveyor belt.

5. Wait 25- 30 minutes so the Oven component can heat up.

Shrink Wrapping
The Process
Once the shrink-wrap machine is loaded with film, the heated lever is over
the metal plate and the oven component is at the set temperature you can complete
the next steps.
1. Grab the shrink-wrap film from underside.

2. Place book in the inside the shrink-wrap film from the underside so both top
and bottom can have film over them.

3. Pull down the heated lever.

4. Wait for heated lever to pop up on its own.

5. Slide the book onto the conveyor belt so it can go inside oven component the
correct way and does not block the way for future items.

1. Place the book on the T-fold box.

2. Take the left tab and fold it into towards the book.

3. Repeat with the right tab.

4. Fold the book over two times.

5. Pull the lever of the tape dispenser and grab four pieces of saturated
tape.
6. Pinch side of the T-fold box.
7. Place one piece of tape on the left pinched side.

8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 on the right side.

9. Place two pieces on the bottom.

The Labeling Process
The last steps in this process is labeling then you can ship off your book to
anybody in the world.
1. Grab your label.

2. Fill it out the necessary information.

3. Get your tape make it bigger than the label

4. Place label onto tape with the backside facing upwards

5. Place the label front and center of the package.

6. Ship off your package.

Glossary
Heated lever- A part of the shrink wrap machine that tears off the end of the shrink
wrap film by heating up the film when the lever is pressed down.
Oven Component- A part of the shrink wrap machine that the book goes through
so the film can shrink to the books size.
Shrink Wrap Film- The thin plastic film that protects the book from dust and dirt.
Shrink Wrap Machine- The machine that lets you package seal on object in plastic
film.
T-Fold Box- The shipping package where the book goes into place.
Water Reservoir- A part of the tape dispenser that hold the water.
Water Tape Dispenser A tape dispenser that uses water activated to tape.
Commonly used with packages.
