Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 October 30, 2014 Senior Exploration Judge St. James High School 10800 Highway 707 Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 Dear Senior Exploration Judge: I am currently a student at St. James High School and could not be more ecstatic to be a senior. I have had a promising four years due to being focused and doing whatever it takes to shine through in my future. As I approach graduation, I am assured that my grades will reflect my ability to succeed in college as well as in my upcoming career. You always see commercials and advertisements asking for our generosity with helping aid other countries or regions, whether it be with hunger or disease, but should we not look at our poverty stuck country first? As I continue to see these Advertisements, I cannot help but to go out on a daily basis and see people who are barely getting by with what little they have. These kind of scenarios make me want to do anything to lend a hand. Doing Senior Exploration has taught me a lot about who I am as a person and how my character should hold up as I get older. I chose to do my community service at a local food bank, Grand Strand Helping Hand, where I saw situations that made me realize how blessed I am to live the life God has given to me. Being around such inspiring volunteers and people in dire need have made this project the least stressful task it could have possibly been . I would like to thank you all for being a part of Senior Exploration and taking time out of your day to Judge every students presentations from the Class of 2015. I hope to have impressed you all with my outlook as well as statistically on how the community as a whole feels about our helping hands. Sincerely,
