MITEQ UP/DOWN CONVERTERS REDUNDANT-SYSTEM

1.1

A pair of switches is required to establish redundant-switching system. In order to save space,

also in considering flexibility; these switches are accommodated into a small and slim box,
including the necessary control circuits. (ref. figure-1)

This box is named as RSM (Redundant Switch Module). It is fitted into the rear slot of the
frequency-converter (up-converter, and down-converter).
1.2

NSUN (ref. figure-2) is the redundant control unit which is able to control up to 12+1
redundant-system.

With storing the RSM this way, a neat interconnection can be carried out as shown in figure-3.

A set of cable-harness for device-to-device interconnection is provided for a certain redundant

system. The figure-3 is the configuration for 2+1 redundant-system. And, the figure-4 is the
close look of the interconnection.

1.3

The down-converter redundant-system is constracted in the same way. The following figure-5
shows the 2+1 down-converter redundant-system.
