A. Tuesday, December 9, 2014: Send a representative for a brief meeting at 2:45 pm to Room 433.
o All paperwork and materials given out at this meeting need to be completed by Dec. 18th.
o All groups must connect their presentation to Dr. Kings message of peace, justice, and tolerance.
B. Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014: Mandatory Meeting to HAND IN INFORMATION at 2:45
in Room 433. Read below for performance requirements.
*Each group is required to turn in: (4 MINUTES FOR WHOLE PRESENTATION. This includes your introduction.)
o a list of the participating people in your group. This MUST be emailed to me! Please be sure to
include birth names (not nicknames).
o an introduction to the performance that connects to Dr. Kings message
o the composition/poem/dance to be performed (include composer/author)
o All groups using music MUST provide a copy of the music ON A CD edited to less than 3 minutes.. This
needs to be handed in today!
o All PowerPoints/Videos MUST BE HANDED IN TODAYNO LATER, NO EXCEPTIONS.
*I would like to make sure we have an array of videos/PowerPoints with different music selections.
*Every group MUST see me on this date in order to be included in the assembly!
C. Monday, January 5, 2015: Check in meeting: A representative MUST check in to confirm all information and
media.
D. Monday, January 12, 2015: Mandatory Dress Rehearsal at 2:35 in the auditorium. All advisors must come with
their group. Please have groups on time and waiting quietly for their turn. Mark your calendar now; this will
be a late practice. There are a lot of groups to perform, and I will need time to see them all. THANK YOU for
your understanding in advance.
E. Tuesday, January 13, 2015: Dress Rehearsal for those who are asked to perform again by Ms. Cutone or those
groups who want extra practice. *THIS IS THE FINAL DAY TO PERFORM. NO EXCEPTIONS.
F. Friday, January 16, 2015: MLK Assembly. Time approx. 1 pm.
Thank you for your support with the groups and organization this year.
It is essential all groups follow the deadlines and requirements.

*It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT you notify your 8th period teachers AHEAD OF TIME you are performing in
this assembly!
*Bring this letter, MEDIA, and other materials on December 18, 2014 at 2:45 in room 433!
