PROJECT:

DESIGN OF ACTIVE MAGNETIC BEARING

By the application of the electromagnetic suspension to the bearings, we have
achieved the contactless bearings which is active magnetic bearing with which friction can be
eliminated and can withstand very high speeds. We have also introduced the radial ball bearings
which activates on the event of failure of the active magnetic bearings using smart system.
