The lesson plan focuses on having kindergarten students practice measuring plants using Unifix cubes to learn counting and numbers. The goal is for students to be able to measure the length of a plant's stem and leaves using Unifix cubes in 30 minutes with 80% accuracy. Assessments include having students measure and write the number of Unifix cubes used to measure their shoe as a pre-assessment and turning in a worksheet after the lesson as a post-assessment.
