Title of Lesson: pig drawing

Targeted Domain:cognitive

Goal: Is to help children learn their shapes.

Objective: let children draw out a pig based on the shapes you are telling
them.

Transition Plan: ask children the shapes before doing the activity. Let
children practice first the shapes out loud.

Procedure: Let the children sit on the rug and give them paper and a
pencil. Then, let them draw out the pigs body by telling them the shapes,
circle, triangle, etc

Advanced Preparation: for the teacher to have the shapes on a wall in

case the children gets stuck they can just look at it.

List Materials: paper and pencil.

Developmental Benefits: cognitive because children will understand the

shapes size.

Future Plans: I can do it with a different animal.
