Reading: The letter Nn and words with and my we will continue to sound out CVC words.
It is hard to believe that it is already December! We have been working
hard in the classroom. The students reviewed the letter Aa this week and learned the words come and me. me We also began to sound out easy words this week (pat, cat, sam). It will be a little tricky at first, but will come easier with practice. In math our class is working on counting up to 100 and recognizing numbers up to 100. The liturgical seasons of Advent and Christmas have been our focus in theology. The children have also been having fun making some Christmas crafts in our classroom! They made some reindeer and ornaments. They are up on bulletin boards in the hallway. Stop by and take a look sometime!
Friendly Reminders
Math: We will continue with counting to 100
Theology: Continue to learn about Advent and Christmas Science: Learn how animals adapt to their environment Social Studies: We will learn how to locate places in our immediate environment.
Please be sure to return
the reading homework bags with the signed sheet inside!
Please continue to work with your child
on fastening their coats for recess. They should be able to do this independently!
