Carpenter, Bernhard Link Theatrical Productions, Fairfield NJ 2010-2014
I worked during the school year as a Carpenter for a theatrical design company. We
did primarily Fashion Shows and Corporate/Private events, designing, building and
running the set/scenery. Events we have produced include Project Runway and
Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, as well as fashion shows for many designers, and
launch events for new lines.
Lifeguard, Verona Community Pool, Verona NJ 2010-2012 (Summers)
I served as a Lifeguard at the local pool. Duties included standard lifeguarding,
safety checks, working the first aid station, pool maintenance and cleaning, as well
as public relations/patron service
Skills
Java Programming Knowledge - Completed AP Computer Science and have a
basic understanding of the Java Programming Language
CPR/AED/First Aid for the Professional Rescuer - I can provide documentation for
my certification from the American Red Cross to perform CPR and First aid, as well
as operate an AED.
Excellent Communication Skills - Through practice on stage as an actor as well as
through leadership experience I have developed excellent communication and
interpersonal skills
Technical Skills - I have used exclusively Apple computing products on the personal
level, and through my pursuit of a Computer Science degree I have gained good
technical skills.
