Curriculum Plan Observing Shells Language
Objective: Children will describe the texture and hear the noise of the
shell.
Transition Plan: Read a book on different shells
Procedure: Have the child put the shell next to their ear so that
they can listen and have each child tell you what they hear. Have the
child draw a shell and you can then write what down what they are
saying.
Advanced Preparation: Have different shapes and sizes of shells
Future Plans: Children can sort the shells to the same texture and
similiar color.
