rebar are not required in the current portion of the interior walls in
reinforced concrete (see fig 1 attached).
The walls that are conventionally considered as internal walls the walls
that are not exposed to rain such as splitting wall, walls on both side of an
expansion joint and exterior walls whose waterproofness is ensured by a
waterproof finishing coat placed outside the wall.
Exterior walls must include an anti fissuring truss (exterior side) with the
following minimal dispositions:
1.0 cm2 of steel horizontally per linear meter
0.50 cm2 of steel vertically per linear meter.
In conformity with the Technical Certificate issued by SCTB 16/03-455
dated June 30, 2003, use of the COFFOR System replaces
advantageously the above dispositions.
Also, the French Norm NF P 06-013 /rules PS 92), Rules for anti seismic
constructions (see fig 2 attached), do not require either rebar in the current
portion of the walls unless this is necessary because of the poor
conditions of material used.
I hope that this letter covers your questions and I remain at your disposal
for any additional information that may be required.

Victor DAVIDOVICI
