SCHOOL CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS Dearborn High School
Marching band saxophone section leader.
1st chair alto saxophone in jazz and symphonic bands at Dearborn High School.
Founder and captain of Dearborn High School saxophone quartet. Lead quartet to a
score of one (1) at the City and State festivals.
Mens ensemble baritone section leader.
Active Thespian in city of Dearborn. Featured as the lead role of Captain Phillip
Lombard in Agatha Christies novel And Then There Were None.
Lead Alto Saxophone for Dearborn community Big Band.
Former 1st chair base clarinet for the Dearborn Youth Symphony.
Currently a private teacher for students on the saxophone and clarinet.
Won the National John Phillip Sousa Award for Excellence in band.
Won the National Louis Armstrong Award for Excellence in jazz.

COMMUNITY SERVICE - Dearborn Michigan


Assistant Senior Patrol leader for Dearborns Boy Scout Troop 1147. Lead troop 1147 to
first gold award in 5 years at their summer camp in 2012.
Worked on numerous community service projects and fundraisers with troop. In
example; Helped cook and serve dinner to the homeless at a soup kitchen. Assisted in
constructing a handicap pathway for the church members. Packed food for 1000 kids
that did not have food to eat during the holidays. Volunteered for annual Boy Scout
fundraisers supporting a variety of charitys.
Voted by troop 1147 members to the Order of the Arrow (OA) to be the troops
representative. An honor bestowed on scouts that best exemplify the Scout Oath and
Law in their daily lives. The Order of the Arrow (OA) has been Scoutings National Honor
Society for more than 90 years.
Twice elected Treasurer of the Mahican Chapter for the Order of the Arrow.

AcademicsFinished High School with an honor role GPA and an honor cord at graduation

Attending Wayne State University as member of the Honors College with the Gold
Scholarship.
