LaManda Pryor:
I am writing to express my interest in teaching at W.G. Pearson Magnet Elementary School. I
believe that you will find me a dedicated and motivated educator. Please find my resume
enclosed.
My resume will reflect the many opportunities that I have taken to further my own education and
increase my ability to teach. After receiving my Bachelor of Arts Degree from Providence
College, I worked for many retail jobs and I also sub. I am also substituted for many years. I
earned my Masters in Education with a focus on Technology and Design from Post University.
As a well-rounded educator, I love to show my students the joy of science, math and
English/language arts. Through different reading and writing activities, I strive to teach students
that there is a direct link between studying literature and everyday life. I implement these
activities with a direct and decisive teaching style that still responds to the continuing needs of
my students. I also have used many forms of manipulative for mathematics. In science I
implemented as many experiments as I could. I was also a 4th/5th grade science teacher for South
Warren Elementary School in Warren County this past year, where I learned a great deal about
classroom teaching.
I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you about your school and how I can become a
part of it. I can be reached at (203) 982-8345 and njshabrack@gmail.com. Please feel free to
contact me at your earliest convenience. I look forward to hearing from you.
Very respectfully,

Nicholas J. Shabrack
