POSITION DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general supervision, applies 2D & 3D modeling tool expertise to create 3-D models, drawings, layouts,
hydraulic schematics, work instructions for valve manufacturing and service manuals. Ensures that results meet
established needs and goals.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1. Effectively applies the knowledge of Pro-E Wildfire to reduce the execution time of Engineering Change
Requests, Engineering Work Orders, Legacy Conversions from 2-D to 3-D. Needs minimum inputs from
Product Engineers to execute the Work orders. Adheres to the requirements from the Checkers
checklist.
2. Understands fit, form and function of product and components. Ensures that drawings are complete and
detailed and have correct dimensions, notes, etc
3. Maintains drawings and models, specifications, bills of materials and other documents to effectively
communicate the function and performance of products and components internally and externally.
4. Creates service manuals / service instructions as per the guidance received from the Account Managers /
Product Engineers. Adheres to the format specified and maintains consistency in similar service
instructions.
5. Creates work instructions for valve assembly as per the guidance received from the Manufacturing
Engineers. Adheres to the format specified and maintains consistency in similar work instructions.
6. Performs related duties as assigned.

ITI or Diploma in Engineering, emphasis in Mechanical or related engineering discipline.

For ITI certificate holders, 3 to 4 years of related industry experience must.
2 to 3 years experience in Pro-E required.
Knowledge of Hydraulic Components and their application preferred.
