Classic Horror 3 This score will be used for the torture
scene where Lucy is getting hit with a mallet. This piece starts of slowly and gets faster as it goes on creating tension and unnerving the audience as they watch whats happening and the slow piano score will also add to the scary atmosphere. Evil This score is used at the start of our opening sequence, as it sets out a mysterious effect and as it gets louder the audience knows something is about to happen. Since the start is short we only needed a short score this part of our opening sequence. Jump Scare This sound will be used for the part where Lucy is snatched by the Carpenter. This sound was chosen as it gave the audience quite a scare and makes people jump out of their skin and this was effective in scaring the audience and also sticking to the codes and conventions of a thriller/horror. Extras: Footsteps This sound was used as ambient sound, as we needed to create verisimilitude so that the audience could believe in the world that we had created. Meat Stick This sound was used to create a gory and disturbing feeling for the audience so that they could hear the sound of the mallet hitting Lucy.
