History
LSH is a long standing tradition at Florida State University, having been in
existence for decades. It began as a smaller co-ed student organization
called the Scalphunters in which the men worked with the student boosters
and the women worked with the Extra Point Club. In 1979, the organization
split male from female and the women gained their independence as the
Lady Spirithunters.
