Organizations
Currently, as a commuter student who also works often, I have not had the opportunity of
joining any WSU student organizations. However, when I live on campus next year I will join
the ASME or the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. This organization will be vital to
helping me develop my networking contacts for finding a job later in life.
Also, I plan on joining the WSU League of Legends club as a personal hobby. League of
Legends is an online game that enjoy playing and has helped me deal with the stress of my first
semester of college.

During the spring-fall time I plan on creating the Wayne State University Frisbee
Association of America. This will be a club that plays all frisbee games on on campus to promote
a healthy an active lifestyle, while offering a sport that is much more relaxed and laid back.

Study Abroad
During my junior year I plan to study abroad in either China or Germany. This is because
both offer great programs in the engineering field and would give me a lot of experience in the
field itself. Currently, the Wayne State study abroad programs are a bit lackluster, only offering
one program for both countries, but I have been looking into a self-funded summer abroad
program that I will hopefully be able to use.

Volunteer Work
I unfortunately have not participated in any volunteer work yet because I am still new to
the Detroit area, but I do know that I will be participating in some upcoming WSU sponsored
events all around Detroit to help revitalize the community.
