    dreadandangst.Thesecretpurposeoftheschoolandeveryoneemployedtheredevelops
    slowlybeforebuildingtoclimaxofintensityandhorror,throughtheuseofsound.

    OneelementthathelpspushSuspiriapastitsslowpointsisthesoundtrackbyGoblin.The
    fourpiecerockgroup(keyboards,guitar,bass,anddrums)providedbothentrancingmusical
    motifsandalmostavantgardeauralassaulttheuseofmusiccreatesbuildupand
    excitement.TheslowerComposedbyEnnioMorricone'screatessuspenseandmakesthe
    filmmorethrilling.
