You must focus on one topic of tragedy and at least five positive ways you can help people who are coping with grief. Your group will choose a project to complete with all members helping to plan the project, create the artifacts, and present your final ending. Project Options: Video Clip: Students will complete a public service announcement providing details about the tragedy you researched including who the tragedy affects, statistics, and ways to cope with grief. All participants must contribute to the planning, videoing (acting, filming, editing), and presentation. Video must be at least 3 minutes, and no more than 7 minutes. Billboard: Students will create a tri-fold billboard providing information about the tragedy you researched, including who the tragedy affects, statistics, and ways to cope with grief. All participants must contribute to the planning, illustrating, summarizing, presentation, and write one section of the billboard. Poem/Song: Students will create a poem or song giving details about the tragedy you researched, including who the tragedy affects, statistics, and ways to cope with grief. All participants must contribute to the planning, writing, and presentation. Each member is responsible for at least 8 lines of the poem or song.
