Music

Music is a very important part of my life. I

love to sing. I am President of the Choral
Department here. I am a member of the
Concert Choir and Chamber Singers. We
are currently working on organizing our
festival in January and deciding on places
for tour. I also sing in a church choir at
Abingdon United Methodist Church.

Mass Communications

Students for St. Jude

As a Mass Communications Major, I am

director of EHC-TV where we record shows
each week and air them on Comcast Channel 3. I am also working with Dr. Keller in
designing a new webpage and brochure for
the department. Previously, I have reported
comunnity updates for the radio station
and worked cameras and prompter for the
TV station.

One thing I always try to do is look for

ways that I can give back. Helping raise
money for cancer is a very important
cause to me. As a board member for Students for St. Jude, we help raise awareness and raise money to donate to St.
Judes Childrens Research Hospital.

Alpha Psi Omega

My freshman year, I became part of Alpha
Psi Omega National Honor Thetare Fraternity. Even though I am not a major, I
enjoy theatre and music and have so much
respect for majors. Currently, I hold the
position of Secretary and Publicity Chair. I
take notes at meetings and send them out
to all members. I also make posters and
spread the word of our various events.

About Me
My name is Christina Danielle Druen. I am
20 years old and a junior at Emory & Henry
College. I grew up in Nelson County, Virginia
where I attended Nelson County High. I was
involved in many extra-curricular activities
while attending school. I was Vice President of
the National Honor Society, a founding member of the Spanish National Honor Society,
Captain of our marching bands colorguard,
a character in our schools musicals, concert
band, concert choir, show choir, and jazz
band. I also worked as a part-time waitress
after school.
When it was time to decide on a college, I
knew I wanted a small school that would offer
many opportunities to get involved. I found
that Emory & Henry was the best option for
me. Since I have been here, I have involved
myself in many extra-curricular activities and
have found out a lot about myself. Emory &
Henrys liberal arts program has definitely
helped me become a well-rounded individual.
