Advantage Resourcing
400 Galleria Officentre Suite 114
Southfield, MI 48034

Dear Ms. Pollock:

Through the job posting I received, I learned that you have an opening for a Service
Engineer in Allen Park, MI. The job description interests me and I am eager to display the value I
can offer Ford Motor Company with my past experience and education. As a potential employee
of the Service Engineering Team, I will bring a broad range of diagnostic skills, a team building
attitude and professional communication skills to my team members and customers.
I have developed key leadership skills by managing a three-bay quick lube facility and
developing a team of employees with positive attitudes that delivered an exceptional customer
experience and quality vehicle service. This experience has given me the opportunity to deal with
situations pertaining to both employee conflict resolution as well as resolving customer service
concerns. As a repair technician in a Ford dealership for 3 years, I obtained critical vehicle repair
experience as well as knowledge of several vehicle systems. My internship this past summer as a
Technical Service Engineer for Ford Motor Company helped me further develop both my written
and verbal communications skills by conversing via computer and telephone with dealership
technicians as well as with product concern engineers.
With my past work experience and degree in Automotive Management, I am prepared to
make a valuable contribution to your Service Engineering team. I am eager to continue my
personal and professional growth with Advantage Resourcing and Ford Motor Company. I would
appreciate the chance to interview with you at your earliest convenience. Please call me at (616)
894-2389 (cell) or email me at snydern8@ferris.edu.

Sincerely,

Sonny Snyder
