* Laceys Chocolate Chip Cookies *

Single Batch (makes 44 cookies)

Double Batch (makes 88 cookies)

1 cup butter (2 cubes) softened

2 cups butter (4 cubes) softened

1 cup sugar

2 cups sugar

cup packed brown sugar

1 cup packed brown sugar

2 eggs

4 eggs

teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 teaspoons baking soda

2 teaspoons vanilla

4 teaspoons vanilla

2 cups flour

4 cups flour

1 package (12 oz.) chocolate chips

2 packages (24 oz.) chocolate chips

1. Cream butter with sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
2. Add eggs mix until smooth.
3. Add salt, baking soda, and vanilla mix in well.
4. Stir in flour until
blended.
5. Mix in chocolate chips.
6. Drop with teaspoon or
small ice cream scoop
onto cookie sheet
(covered with parchment
paper if possible)
7. Bake at 375 degrees
for 9 to 12 minutes.
