Building a Pop Bottle Thermometer.

We will build a thermometer today out of some unlikely materials.

2- Popsicle sticks

1-chunk of plasticine

1- drop of dye in the bottle

1-marble

1-piece of gum

Procedures.
1. Carefully pour some cold water into your bottle. Pour enough to
fill it up to the black line. Mix up the water and the dye.
2. Your straw will need to stick out of the bottle, and it cannot touch
the bottom of the bottle.
3. Use the plasticine to hold the straw in place. It must be air-tight!

4. Put your hands around the pop bottle VERY gently. Do not
squeeze the bottle!
