Intermedia Advisors, LLC, is a private equity firm focused on

investments in the media sector founded in 2005. This company
published Vibe Magazine which is an urban, Global music magazine
in 2009. This company earned $1 billion however SpinMedia
purchased Vibe magazine in 2013.

 Spin Media is a digital publisher in the U.S which owns a number of

pop culture websites including spin, stereogum and vibe.
Spinmedia was the publisher of spin magazine in July 2012 when it
was named buzzmedia however the print version of the magazine
was shut down. Spinmedia then acquired vibe magazine in April
2013
In 2009 they funded $12.5 million

 Immediate media is an award winning combined publishing

company. It is one of the biggest consumer businesses in the UK
and is the origin of BBC magazines. They have one million average
subscribers and sell over 47 million magazines a year. Immediate
media is well known for publishing the music magazine Top Of The
Pops.

WENNER MEDIA LLC

Jann Wenner founded The Rolling Stone magazine in 1967. He bought
many magazines including a share in Us Weekly and joint purchased a
magazine with The Walt Disney Company. In 2000, the magazine went
weekly and now reaches over 11 million readers a week.

MY PREFERRED INSTITUTION
I would prefer SpinMedia to be the publisher of my magazine. This is
because it seems like the most successful institution and in 2009
funded 12.5 million. As well as this, SpinMedia are the publisher of
vibe magazine which is an global magazine who focus on urban
music and artists. The other publishers such as Immediate Media
publishes magazines that do not relate to my magazine such as Top
Of The Pops which focuses on teens and young children and this is
not the audience that my magazine is aimed at.
