Brief Description of Evidence:

In the fall semester of 2014 I created a poster of different benefits for parental
involvement in ECED 100. I researched online to find the benefits of parental
involvement for students, parents, and teachers. When creating my poster, I tried to
make it simple and to the point.

Analysis of What I Learned:

When doing this project, why it is important to get parents involved with their childs
school. I learned how parents, students, and teachers can all benefit from parental
involvement. It can really make a big difference on a childs life.

How This Artifact Demonstrates my Competence on the InTASC/NAEYC

Standard:
I used the NAEYC standard 3 when doing this assignment. I used this standard to create a poster
to promote parental involvement to create positive outcomes for their children. During this
assignment, I was also trying to create partnerships with parents by promoting them to get
involved with the school.
