Three years ago, I worked for an agency that helped single parents
obtain a Job, Food Stamps, Medicaid, Childcare, Housing and
Transportation.
My client was due for a renewal of services and needed to
provide the worker with current documentation.
My client informed me that she had a mutual friend at the agency
that would sign off on her paperwork which was not accurate.
Due to working with my client for quite some time and building a
trusting relationship with her and her children this presented a
ethical dilemma.
I later informed my client of the misuse of services and then
reported the facts to my agency and allowed them to follow up
with the worker whom my client receive the benefits from.
