Inthisunit,studentswillidentifyschoolobjectsthattheyuseinclass.They
willlearntoexpresslikesanddislikesorallyandinwrittenform.

Keyvocabulary:

Identify more school supplies: el lpiz de color- crayon and color, la


pluma- the pen, el libro-the book, el calendario-the calendar, la
computadora-the computer
Identify classroom activities: leer-to read, colorear-to color, escribir-to
write, dibujar-to draw, pintar-to paint
Express likes/dislikes: (No) Me gusta (colorear, leer, escribir, etc.)

For knowledge assessment students will be


asked to:
1. Given a sheet of paper with pictures of school activities, students label
according to teacher's directions (eg. put a number 1 next to escribir, put a
number 2 next to leer).(1.2.N.L.a)(1.2.N.L.b)
2. Given a sheet of 6 classroom objects students orally identify four out of six
classroom objects.(1.2.N.L.a)

Possible home connections:


encourage but not force your child to speak the Spanish
language at home
Ask your child about what they like to do at school using
the appropriate words above.
