    Chaperones

    We will need a total of 10 adult


    chaperones who will also be
    attending free of charge. The
    chaperones responsibility will be to
    make sure everyone is on schedule
    according to the itinerary and to
    make sure students stay together.
    During each tour the chaperones will
    have a script that will give
    educational facts and significance
    about each place.

    Stuff to Bring
    Make sure to be packed for a total of
    15 days. We will only be there for 14
    days but it is best to bring extra
    clothes for emergencies. Also please
    bring a notebook and pens to take
    notes at each tour. You will also need
    a camera and spending money for
    ouvenirs. All food will be paid for!

    Dear Parents and Guardians


    Our 6th grade class has been given the amazing opportunity to tour the best sites of
    Egypt! We have been spending our history lessons on the significance of Egyptian
    culture and influences. Now we will be able to see these ancient artifacts, tombs, and
    temples first hand!

    Tentative Schedule
    We will be staying in the Nile Hilton Hotel. First day will be spent to settle in to
    our hotel and explore the local area. First Exploration! Our first visit will be to
    the Giza Plateau where we will see, the Pyramids of Khufu, Khafra, and
    Menkaura, The Great Sphinx, and the Sphinx and Valley Temple of Khafra
    Tombs of the Nobles Egyptian Museum!!! A guided tour of the museum that
    leads through the Old, Middle, and New Kingdoms, we will see the old
    treasures of King Tut and will see historical works of art! We will go on a guided
    tour of the busy city if Cairo. We will visit both modern and ancient places. A
    free day! Last day in Cairo Today will be spent touring the city with your
    chaperones, you have the oppurtunity to explore the area and buy souvenirs or
    enjoy the Nile or just be lazy at the hotel. However you MUST stay with group
    and chaperone. Leaving Cairo, taking bus to hotel in Luxor! Settle in and
    explore the local area. We will be staying at Luxor Hilton Visit to the Valley
    Kings, the Colossi of Memnon, and the Mortuary Temple of Hatsheput.
