2nd In Charge Leader

Location: Designated site


Report to: Site Leader Operations Manager and/or Retailer
Position Purpose
The Leader role involves leading a team of people to provide extraordinary and
efficient service to customers in the shop, food and coffee zone and on the
forecourt. The Site Leader must be a role model for exemplary performance and
coach staff on how to delight customers.
It is also vital that an active focus is on Health and Safety towards both staff and
customers.
In addition the Leader must complete all tasks to the stated Health, Safety, Security
and Environment (HSSE) policies and Food Safety Standards.
Attributes
You lead by example and are focused on providing an extraordinary experience for
your customers. You are goal orientated and very organised. You have the ability
to coach staff to ensure they are reaching their own potential and achieving site
standards.
Principle Accountabilities
In addition to following Z Energys policies and procedures, principal accountabilities
include, but are not limited to:

Provides excellent customer service at all areas across the site


Is connected with the local neighbourhood and what is important to locals.
Ensures effective and efficient day-to-day running of the site
Coaches staff on all aspects of site processes and focuses on their personal
development
Actively manages task lists, task rosters and organises administration to ensure
your site runs to an exceptional level
Ensures targets related to site performance are met
Conducts housekeeping and merchandising checks
Secures cash and manages the shifts to balance
Complies with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) and Food Safety
Standards
Handles customer/supplier complaints efficiently and in a friendly manner
Promotes Fly Buys
Develops and maintains great working relationships with all site staff members,
Operations Managers and Retailers.
Is always looking for ways to improve our processes for the benefit of both staff
and customers
