This is a contract that will ask permission for the actors to play a part in our music video for
our media project.
Dear Name of actor

Signing this contract will confirm agreement that you will take part in our music video. As
you know, this is a low budget production and we are keen to ensure that everyone
understands the basis upon which the video is being made. If there is anything about this letter
that you do not understand or you wish us to clarify, please do not hesitate to contact us.
1) You agree to give over any rights you may have in the finished production to name of
Production Company or producer. This will allow us to distribute and/or show the music
video in any and every way we can.
2) We will pay a fee of 20.00 a day for your performance in our production. The fee is
payable within at least 28 days after the performance was given.
3) We will aim to ensure that working days last no longer than 10 hours.
4) We will do our best to ensure your health, safety and welfare during the Shoot.
5) We will have public liability insurance to cover you during the Shoot.
By signing this contract, you are committing to a role in our BTEC media year 13 course.
We will also inform you on the dates and locations that we will be shooting, and will also be
shown on the production schedule, and will also show the shots that we will be casting.
We hope that you will take part in our production and look forward to having your company
as an actor.
