South Dakota Achieve and Childrens Hospital Merge

South Dakota Achieve and the Childrens Care Hospital have now become one company called Lifescape.
The two CEOs met over a cup of coffee and the discussion of a possible merger came up, one year later the
companies are now one. Lifescape plans on retaining all of the services the two companies had, and expanding
into even better patient care.
Achieve CEO Anne Rieck McFarland says We are excited about the opportunities merging with
the Childrens Care Hospital can bring us, and look forward to our new future together as Lifescape.
Lifescape is planning on building a new facility where all of their patient care will take place, because it is a
non-profit organization, the center will be built on donations purely. The new facility is in early production phases
but will have state of the art medical equipment as well as a swimming pool for families and others to gather.
Childrens Care Hospital CEO Dave Timpe says Our new facility will have it all. We hope to excel in our
patient care and make Lifescape the leading hospital and community for children of all illnesses and people with
mental illness.
An informational conference and fundraiser for the new center will be held for the general public
rd

November 3 at the Sioux Falls arena. Speakers will answer any questions the public has and food and activities
will be offered for children.

Lifescape is a nonprofit organization focused on increasing the value of life by bringing services to young children
and adults with special needs in the Midwest and beyond.
