Being inducted into the National Honors Society and the Tri-M Music Honors Society in high school were
definitely highlights of my academic career. They were some of my top goals when I entered high school and it
gave me a great sense of accomplishment to achieve them.
While serving a mission, I discovered that true happiness came from those enjoying what I had and those around
me. I discovered a great desire for the joy that came from helping better the lives of those I cared about. This
prompted me in my decision to become a doctor.
Being an Eagle Scout and serving a full-time mission have taught me important principles and characteristics
such as leadership, independence, positive-thinking, sacrifice, respect, integrity, humility, love, and dignity.
These attributes of character and many more I plan to incorporate into my life, my career, and my family.
