dear khalid sb, aoa,

following are comments of Mr. -------------------------- below mail, please.

Hausher have commented, To drill the blast holes for 1.000.000 tons per year is
not a problem for such a powerful machine and this machine. But as you have
such a big amount of overburden I think you will need two rigs of this size.

their indicated 1 million tonnes per year (m tpy) is only about 63% of our
expected requirement @ 3000 tonnes per day (tpd) cement, limestone = 1.584 m
tpy.
We will need THREE drills to work simultaneously at THREE areas in order to
achieve the required chemistry.
As these drills come with the compressor-engine, this should to be taken into
account when comparing cost with separate providers.
The overburden does not require blasting? The geologists logs indicate no
such possibility.

there is one response from Sandvik being replied to u in a separate mail. this is
Hausher's. may we inquire if u got no response from Ingersol Rand and/or Atlascopco..
Suggested response to Hausher's queries, please.
Haushers queries

Our Response

1.)

15-30 meters

Maximum depth of regular

blast hole?

2.)

Required drilling diameter?

104 milimeters

3.)

Condition of the overburden

Water-laden; Laterites/Clays. Codition

recent photos (drilling for hydrology)

Must the overburden be drilled

Most probably not

/ blasted?
Please describe the geological

Notes on Physiography,

formation of the overburden

overburden, laterite & clay

detailed!

Do you have some photos?

Sorry. No photos.

Do you have some information

A typical geologists' log for one hole

from exploration drilling?

attached

Is it planned to drill horizontal

Possibly in the overburden

dewatering holes?
4.)

For how many tons / m of

Limestone 1,584,000 tonnes per year;

material (limestone,

660,000 cubic meters per year

overburden, other waste rock)

do you need blast holes ?

5.)

What will be the calculated

40,000 -50,000 meters per year

total amount of drill meters per

year?
8.)

When do you need to start

with drilling & balsting ?
