Objective I am looking for a job that will give me experience as a pharmacy technician; and to push me to use
the customer service skills I have already gained through my past jobs. Working as a pharmacy
technician would be ideal for me because I hope to pursue a career as a pharmacist in the future. I
would like to work in a challenging, yet enjoyable environment that allows me to learn from
experienced, professional pharmacists and technicians.

Experience Marianos Pharmacy (Park Ridge)

Sept. 2014-Present

I currently work in the Pharmacy where I fill prescriptions, greet customers, solve insurance issues,
contact doctors for renewal requests, and check out prescriptions. I am the only technician that works
at this pharmacy, so all of the tasks that the pharmacists ask fall on me. I enjoy the responsibility that I
withhold there and am very fortunate to have been taught all that I have in such a short time.
Marianos Floral Department (Park Ridge)

Feb. 2014-Sept. 2014

I worked in the Floral department where my main responsibilities revolved around being creative,
vivacious, and attentive. I was extremely fortunate for having the ability to work with natures prettiest
embellishments, but what made my job so special, is the fact that I got to create beautiful bouquets
and arrangements that were being given to brighten someone elses day!
Casa San Carlo Retirement Facility

Aug. 2011-Feb. 2014

I worked as a waitress in the food service department at Casa San Carlo. Some of the major
responsibilities that I withheld were preparing the kitchen and dining room, waiting on the residents,
cleaning up the kitchen, and setting up the dining room.
Supercuts

May 2011-Sept. 2011

I worked as a receptionist. I greeted the customers and made appointments for the stylists. I also
maintained the front desk, the computer, and the register.
Elmwood Park Aquatic Center

May 2009-Sept. 2010 (summer only)

I worked in the concession stand. The tasks that I withheld were taking orders, preparing and serving
food, handled the cash register, and greeted customers.

Education Depaul University

I am currently a Junior at DePaul University. I decided to transfer into DePaul as a Junior in order to
broaden my future endeavors. I am majoring in Health Sciences with and educational goal of
becoming a pharmacist.

I attended Trinity for all four years of my high school career and graduated in May of 2012.

Skills I am a very hard-working and responsible individual. I believe that being punctual is a necessity. I like to
give every task my full ability and I become very passionate to the work I am performing. Customer
service is my number one priority and I have an extensive background in great customer service skills. I
have worked with many ranges of people, from the elderly to toddlers. I feel that I am a very down-toearth person and get along with most people. I enjoy building friendships with my coworkers because I
believe that teamwork is a great accessory in the work place.
