Biography

I was born and raised in Boyle Heights and still lived there at the moment.
I have one brother and three sisters. I am eighteen years old. I went to
Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet High School and I always tried to stay
away from gangs, violence, drugs and alcohol my whole life. It is tough,

but I am doing pretty well out here in Northridge by myself.

Topics/Claims
1. My first essay was about how religion
does no good to the world. I believe that
society is much better off without religion.
2. My second essay is about how hypersexualism is a bad thing because it
promotes sex. The media

Strengths/Weaknesses
Strengths: I would say that Im not the greatest at
writing, but I would say that my strength is
writing the intro to my essays.

Weaknesses: I need to improve on my writing

overall. I also need to be more clear on what I
write and support my opinions with evidence.

The most important thing I learned I learned in this class would be how to see things in a different
perspective. How to dig into a current event and how to analyze it. I learned many things, but I
would say that was the most important. Thank you Professor Kubler.
