    YOUR STORY (NO MORE THAN 200 WORDS)

    It has been five months since they moved to Deal, a small town in Kent. Everyone is talking about a family
    from Smederevo, Serbia. Mother- an extraordinary doctor, Father- a successful lawyer and daughter- a
    straight A student everyone could wish for. The locals almost feel a twinge of envy every time they see what
    appears to be a perfect family. What they do not know is that they are trying to conceal a skeleton in the
    closet. Every day after school the daughter cries for hours in the tub, with water pouring down her angelic
    face, removing all the make-up she uses to hide the bruises. They have no idea that her father is an alcoholic
    who beats her up every time he gets drunk, that her mother is a drug-addict who is having an affair with her
    colleague. The only place in Deal where the daughter feels safe is near the Channel. Through its sparkling
    pale-blue water, she can see a bed of smooth white pebbles. Grass and flowers have grown thickly along its
    coast and it winds away into the distance like a ribbon laid out onto a green carpet. But, unfortunately, she
    cannot stay there forever
