Summary of Selected Duties & Accomplishments:
Develop, continually monitor, and analyze annual budget with annual revenue of $4-million. Present
compelling reasons for adopting budget to President, Treasurer, Finance Committee, Board of
Trustees, and 65-member Board of Governors.
Recommend and establish new sources of revenue, as well as cost-containment initiatives.
Direct professional staff of 12 to ensure accomplishment of strategic plan, as well as daily objectives;
appraise staff performance.
Ensure high quality and consistency among all products and services delivered to all customers,
including conferences, trade shows, publications, websites, educational products, professional
certification program, public relations campaigns, and others.
Develop sponsorship program to entice vendors to support the annual meeting.
Direct all strategic planning efforts, including conducting quarterly think tank sessions with 65member Board of Governors.
Serve as liaison between the Board of Trustees and the associations legal and legislative counsels.
Represent the association before industry groups and the press.

Developed annual budget to ensure continued operations of not-for-profit trade association with
annual revenue exceeding $1-million.
Directly responsible for providing valuable member services, including conferences, trade shows,
publications, website, market intelligence, and others.
Developed and implemented creative marketing campaigns for association products and services
resulting in increased sales, greater corporate sponsorships and donations, and higher member
satisfaction.
Conducted daily business-to-business marketing and communications to spread the Associations
message, persuade Executives at Fortune 500 companies to participate in seminars, and convince
donors of the value of contributing to the Association.
Established West Coast Public Relations Office to ensure representation and increase association
awareness in the Hollywood community.
Reorganized and streamlined headquarters operations to provide better and cost-efficient member
services and to decrease dependency on, and expenses to, contracted service providers.
