E = (*N*Z*P) / (60*A)

Where,
= Useful flux per pole in Weber
N = Armature speed
Z = No. of Conductors
P = No. of Poles
A = No. of Armature
= P (for lap winding)
= 2 (for wave winding)

From voltage equation of a DC machine,

Where,
E = Generated Voltage
V = Potential Difference Across Load
I = Armature Current
R = Armature Resistance
Since, the kinetic energy of wheels is used to run dynamo, which further
utilises this energy for production of current, which is further used to power
the LEDs, given by the eqn,

*m*(v1 - v2 ) = E * I * t

Where,

m = mass of vehicle
v = vehicle speed
E = generated voltage across dynamo
I = Armature Current
v1 = initial speed of vehicle
v2 = final speed of vehicle after braking
t = time taken to reduce vehicle speed from v1 to v2
