The TV Choice logo is

replicated for each cover and

is always positioned in the top
left hand corner. A shadow
effect is implemented on the
white lower case font which
sits on a red, circular textbox
to create a bold and standout effect. I must replicate
this style, positioning and size
to make the magazine
recognisable for the audience.

Both copies contain three extra stories at the

bottom of the front cover, all of which are
presented with a colourful/stand-out effect
such as curved outlined yellow outlines,
orange pointed outlines and a white shadow
effect. All the stories have titles over the top
of the images in contrasting colours for each,
such as orange for black mirror and pink for
Coronation Street.
The stories featured on the front cover are
mainly soap operas Eastenders and
Coronation Street (titled corrie on these
front covers), reality TV shows and occasional
ly dramas (e.g. Black Mirror). This makes TV
choice a great pick to advertise Class

The photography overlaps the

TV Choice logo to create a 3dimensional effect;
experimenting with depth on
the cover makes it more
visually engaging. I will
implement the use of depth in
the layout for my own front
cover. This style is also seen in
the photography at the
bottom of the cover,
advertising different TV shows.

The tagline accompanying the

main stories is massively
identifiable as the TV Choice
brand as they often use the
extreme stand-out colours of
red and yellow font and
background, as seen with these
two copies. The keywords of the
tagline are capitalised and
exclamation marks are used for
a dramatic effect. In terms of
positioning, the tagline runs
across the width of the cover
and in both cases sits just
beneath the centre of the page.
