For some it is their way of freezing time, for some it is their way of letting their imagination flow

so as to show ordinary as extraordinary and for some others, it is the way to create a virtual and
interesting world. No matter what is your reason, send us your masterpieces and we will help you
gain the limelight.
This will be an online event designed for amateurs who have a passion for photography. Send
your entries to all or any of the three themes. Top 2 photos in each category will be awarded
and selected photos will be exhibited in Carpediem.
Guidelines:
1. Format : JPEG
2. Resolution: At least 2400 x 3600 pixels (200 ppi 12x18)
3. Size: Between 1 MB and 12 MB
4. Last Date for submission: 23rd January, 2015
5. Student profile: In the email provide your unique registration number, name and location
of institution and academic program to which you are currently associated with
6. One entry is allowed for each theme
7. Name the file as <Your name>-<Theme no.> eg. Sushrut Risbud-II
8. Only basic post processing such as for contrast and brightness is allowed
9. No watermarks/ names or any other marks should be added on photo. Due credit will be
given to a photographer if photo is selected for exhibition.
10. B&W is also acceptable
11. Failing to adhere to any of the guidelines will result in disqualification of entry.
12. All decisions by organizers will be considered as final.
Theme I:

Early morning

Sunrise is only a facet, but morning is embellished with its own mood. It can be a dizzy tea or an
exuberant jog or a rush to work. In this broad topic we are looking for entries which capture
moment which you feel are closely associated with dawn.

Theme II:

Product Photography

Select a product of your interest and send a photo which will give a message to broader audience.
Captions can be added on photo or sent in the email.
Theme III:

Story (2-4 photos)

Who says story is an artefact told by wordsmiths? A picture can speak thousand words. In this
entry we are expecting group of 2 to 4 photos which will tell an apt story. You can also use a
small captions, if felt necessary.
