Installing Citrix Receiver for Windows 7

Instructions on how to install the Citrix Receiver on Windows 7.
Windows 7 64bit comes with both 32bit and 64bit versions of Internet Explorer - If you use
Internet Explorer, you MUST use the 32bit version to access AGO2GO.
TIP: Make sure the time is correct on your Win 7 box. If the time is more than 5 minutes off,
you will not be able to authenticate.
Disable User Account Control (UAC):
1. Go to Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Action Center. Go to User
Account Control Settings.
2. Click on the "Change User Account Control Settings" link.
3. Move the slider to the Never notify position, and then click OK.
4. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password
or provide confirmation.
If you had already loaded the ICA client before disabling the UAC, please uninstall it, reboot
and reinstall it.
5. Go to http://www.citrix.com/clients, click on the Windows link located under for
Desktops,
6. Click on Download and choose Download Now to install the Citrix Receiver.
7. Reboot
Once the system comes back up, open your browser and navigate to https://atg.cag.wa.gov,
enter your Citrix Access Gateway UserName (example: atgxxxxxx100) and in the password
field enter your pin plus the RSA security code from your token.
You will then be redirected to AGO2GO system check (if you choose to skip this, you will have
to skip it every time until you allow it to check your system - this may take quite awhile if
you do choose to have it checked) and then to the AGO2GO Web Interface to which you will
authenticate using your normal AGO username and password.
