New Year 2015 Poem (1/1/15)

A new chapter in our book has arrived

The past has left us without a word
We can sigh with relief that we have survived
A hectic year that may have seemed absurd

Every moment is absolutely precious

As we go though it slowly and steadily
New Years food will of course be delicious
Dont binge on it too heavily

When we turn our heads to look back at the past

We might realize the tremendous mistakes we have made
And the memories that were made to last
Teach us to treasure the unseen future Im afraid

Try to make this year a happier one

Although numerous tragedies last year have left us in a tear
Nothing can change what has been done
Strive for a better future and have a Happy New Year
