Government of West Bengal School Education Department Bikash Bhavan, Bidhannagar, Kolkata ~700 091 No. 898-SE(Pry/PBRPSUS/ADMN/9/04-05(Pt.II ) Date: 22/11/2010 ORDER In continuation and partial modification of the memorandum bearing no. 275 SE (P) / PBRPSUS / ADMN / 9/04-05 dated 23.4.2010 and the memorandum bearing no. 376-SE (Pry) dated 9.6.2010, the undersigned is directed to make the following inclusion / modification in the aforesaid G.0 for the continuation of present engagement of the Staff at State / District / CLRC level under Paschim Banga Sarva Shiksha Mission and its district and sub district level counter parts as sanctioned under notification bearing no. 135-SE (Pry) /PBRPSUS/ADMN / 9 / 04-05 dated 26.2.2009, 2. After careful consideration of the matter, it has now been decided that the present ‘engagement of all Staff at State / District / CLRC level under Paschim Banga Sarva Shiksha Mission and its district and sub-district level counterparts will now be continued by the State Project Office / District Project Offices / CLRC offices in the following manner. Staff under Notification 135-SE (Pry) Level / PBRPSUS / ADMN/9/04-05 dated | Appointing Authority 26.2.2009 State Staff of PBSSM at State Level State Project Director, PBSSM District Staff of the concerned district District Project Officer, SSM of the concemed districts Circle Level Resource | Staff of SSM of the concemed CLRC / | District Project Officer, SSM Centre (CLRC) / vin Urban Level Renoaree | UERC of the concemed districts Centre (ULRC)(2) ‘This order will be applicable for all Staff of Paschim Banga Sarva Shiksha Mission at State / District & CLRC level across the state. In terms of observations of Finance Department order under U/O NO. 1429 Gr. ‘P” dated 23-4-2010 and in continuation of this Department NO. 376-SE (Pry) dated 9/6/2010, it is further ordered that all Staff of PBSSM at State / District /CLRC / ULRC level as mentioned in the Paragraph ‘2'will be continued to be engaged as per procedure laid down at Paragraph ‘2 and they will continue to remain so engaged till the attainment of the age of 60 years. It has also been decided that the present engagement of all Staff of Paschim Banga Sarva Shiksha Mission at State/ District / CLRC / ULRC level as stated hereinabove in paragraph ‘2’ will continue as such even after the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Project is wound up by Government of India on the same terms and conditions as prevalent before winding up of the said project and the entire liability of all staff as stated hereinabove will automatically be entrusted to the School Education Department, Govt. of West Bengal. ‘After being discharged on attainment of 60 years of age staff of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan West Bengal who have worked for more than ten years will be paid a lump sum amount of Rs.1.00 lakh only as one time payment as gratuity of their service rendered in connection with education of Primary and Upper Primary stages. ‘There will be an annual system of report of their performance through an Annual Performance Report (APR) as per format to be prepared and circulated by the State Project Director, Paschim Banga Sarva Shiksha Mission. The State Project Director shall send the list sent by District Project Directors as well as the list of staff engaged in the State Project Office to School Education Department, Govt. of West Bengal for obtaining approval.
