How to Capture a Screen Shot
A screenshot is an image taken by the computer to record the visible items displayed on the monitor or
another visual output device. The following directions will help you to copy and paste screenshots of your
results to your facilitator for the Week Four Midterm Exam and the Week Nine Final Exam.
1. Locate the screen image you would like to send.

2. Once you have the screen image you would like to copy, Press Alt + Print Screen on your
computer keyboard to create a screen shot.
3. Open a blank Microsoft Word document.

4. Press Ctrl + V on your computer keyboard to paste the screen shot into a Microsoft Word
document.

5. You now have a screen shot image in a Microsoft Word file that you can save and send to your
facilitator!
