We are going to be practicing with the
formation of letter Q , making an quilt
craft, letter Q queen decoration, and
many more fun activities. We will review
all the blue sight words.
Math Inquiry :
We will explore and identify 3
dimensional shapes focusing on cubes
and cones.

Unit of Inquiry :

Central Idea: The interdependence of

insects and other living things impact our
environment.
This week we will be introducing our new
unit and discussing what are insects.

Home Connection
Play with many different geometrical objects have the children use their imaginations when they play. For
example, paper towel rolls and toilet paper rolls, can be looked through, rolled, and used to represent
objects such as towers in a castle. All these activities develop the foundation of understanding threedimensional shapes.
