This included documents on the Southern Christian Leadership Confrence. it also includes to
documents requesting the Southern Negro Leaders Conference on Transportation and Nonviolent
Integrationto not use bus transportation. This conference is called, King wrote, with fellow
ministers C. K. Steele and Fred Shuttlesworth in January 1957, because we have no moral
choice, before God, but to delve deeper into the struggleand to do so with greater reliance on
non-violence and with greater unity, coordination, sharing, and Christian understanding
(Papers 4:95). I also have a photo of the SCLC sign. I used this on the SCLC page.

This is a video which explain what happened the day of the March on Washington, and that
actually no one wanted the last spot of the event so Martin Luther King Jr. agreed to take it. That
is wehn he gave his famous "I Have a Dream " speech in front of 200,000 people.

This website explains the whole occured before and during the Montgomery Bus Boycott. It also
has links to articles that Martin Luther King Jr. had used to tell those not to ride the buses.
Eventually Congress did deem the bus segregation unconstitutional. I used some of this
