THE LIFE CYCLE OF A FROG

There are many different types of frogs, but they all have a similar life cycle.
First, there is a female adult frog, that has no tail. The female adult frog lays lots of eggs and
those eggs turn into tadpoles, which have tails. They also have gills, so that they can breathe
underwater.

<=Frog eggs
The tadpoles all have tails and little gills so they can breathe underwater. But then, once again,
they change into bigger tadpoles that have a head easier to recognise as a head, but still have
gills.

<=Tadpoles
However, the tadpoles are still growing. They turn into Froglets, which now have lungs, some
small legs, and a bit of tail.

<=Froglet

Now, the Froglets will turn into female adult frogs, which have no tails and lay eggs, and the
cycle goes on and on, like every life cycle that occurs on Earth.

<=FROG
A common frogs life span is 10 - 12 years, but only of a percentage of the eggs laid (varying
from 1,000 to 4,000) survive to be frogs, which is 5 out of an average spawn.
