Mary, my mother, my kin, and my heart

Mary, the humble, the truthfull, the fine
Mary, the mother of God and the cart
Of salvation for all human kind

Thankful I am for your love and your gift

You showed forth the best of this earth
Your care and your mildness that gave us a lift
And hope for us all through the birth

I pray that my life and my energy too

Can be used to bring light in dark
On a cold winters eve it was all up to you
And you gave us Gods wonderful spark

So thank you, Maria, your star ever shines

On our world where the darkness remains
Help us this year so that everyone finds
A light on their path and relief from their wanes
And a peace, unbridged, in their heart.
