money, or raises money, for a show and then has control over
many parts of the production.
Artistic Director: in charge of hiring production staff and
picking a theaters season
Season: the selection of plays performed in a theater
Corporate Theater: theaters that are in the business to make
money
Non-profit theaters: Theaters that do not make money.
Instead they are supported by donors.
