Dear Valued Customers, We're pleased to inform that the new Centralized Inspection Centre (CIC) at Container Terminal 6 (CT6) has been completed and fully-operational on 2™ December 2013 onwards. In line with the above implementation, Customs and MAQIS have agreed to streamline their inspection services twice daily to meet the request by customers at this new location. However, due to manpower constraint and low request for inspections by Other Government Agencies (GA), any request for inspection after normal working hours shall be entertained on appointment basis. ‘As requested by the industry, Westports will also provide carpentry services to assist the cargo handling activity in case required during the inspection. For this service, a surcharge of RMS per carton or RM15 per pallet is applicable based on the tariff imposed by LPK for Deconsolidation Charges 2011 Ref No ~ (1) LPK:PB/600-4/1.
